Professional Counselling Supervision
Individual and group sessions to help you elevate your professional practice.
Refine your skills, gain confidence
and receive supportive feedback
As a level 3 member of the Australian Counselling Association and College of Supervisors, I take great joy in providing high-quality, professional supervision to individuals and groups.
We will work together to create a program that meets your unique needs.
I use the RISE UP Model of supervision, which is based on the latest research and best practices and is the leading program in Australia. Each supervisee is different, and sessions will be tailored around you, but common elements may include:
A supportive space to discuss self-care when managing stressors and burnout
Discussing opportunities to enhance clinical skills and techniques
Support in caseloads and the administrative responsibilities
Helping you with the discussion of ethical issues and challenges while adhering to professional codes of conduct
Supporting you in therapeutic approaches, treatments or insights with the unique needs of your clients

About your supervisor, Laura
After completing Duluth training (Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs) in Canada and working with court-mandated men, I brought my expertise to Australia as a Family and Relationship Counsellor, and Mens Behavior Change Program (MBCP) Educator.
Over the past decade, I have worked across EAP, wellbeing training and mediation counselling. During this time, I held diverse roles, including Clinical Manager, lecturer, team leader, facilitator, trainer, and mentor.
My passion and focus has primarily been on supporting men through a range of issues, leading me to develop a recognized Men’s Behaviour Change Program. As a Counsellor, Senior Facilitator and Supervisor, I continued to provide counselling, create programs, and deliver men-specific lectures and presentations in men’s mental health and on skills for working with men.
